Anonymous usage data

Simple Liturgy uses Umami Cloud to understand how the reader is used and to improve it.

The only data we track is anonymous—roughly, “somebody somewhere used the app somehow.” When enabled, the tracker can send one page-view signal when a page opens. That signal may include the page URL without search or hash details, page title, referrer, browser language, screen size, browser, operating system, device type, and country.

According to Umami, this data is anonymized, does not include personally identifiable information, is not used to track you across websites, and the tracking code does not use cookies. Simple Liturgy does not add custom events or identify visitors, and it honors your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Checking analytics preference…

Turning it off stops future analytics from this device and prevents the Umami tracker from loading on later visits. A page opened before you switch it off may already have sent its one anonymous signal.

On your device

Preferences and offline files

Your analytics, appearance, feast-day link, Psalm display, and Noonday Prayer choices are stored only on your device. If you install or use the reader offline, your browser also caches the app, prayers, and lectionary data.

You can remove this information by clearing Simple Liturgy's site data in your browser or uninstalling the saved web app.
