Personal and noncommercial use

Simple Liturgy is free to use for personal and other noncommercial purposes, including personal study, household use, hobby projects, education, and religious observance.

Source-code license

Original software files in the public Simple Liturgy repository are available under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.

Subject to that license, you may view, use, copy, modify, and share the covered software for permitted personal and noncommercial purposes.

Permission required

Commercial use

Any commercial use of the software requires separate written permission from Mount Worth Creative LLC.

Without that permission, you may not use the software or a modified version in a commercial product or paid service, with an anticipated commercial application, to sell or commercially distribute software based on Simple Liturgy, or to offer a commercial hosted version.

Mount Worth Creative is not obligated to provide a commercial license.

What is covered

License scope

The license applies only to files expressly identified as covered in the public Simple Liturgy repository. It does not apply to any other repository, software, product, service, content, design, or asset unless separately stated in writing.

The accompanying notice identifies the covered files and exclusions.

Public-domain material remains public domain. Third-party material remains subject to its own license or terms.

Help improve it

Contributions

Contributions to Simple Liturgy are welcome.

By submitting code, documentation, designs, or other material for inclusion in the project, you confirm that you have the right to submit it. You retain ownership of your original contribution and grant Mount Worth Creative LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, sublicense, and relicense it, including under commercial or proprietary terms.

Submitting a contribution does not require Mount Worth Creative to accept or use it.

Brand ownership

Trademark

The Simple Liturgy name, logo, and associated branding are owned by Mount Worth Creative LLC.

The source-code license does not grant permission to use that branding for another product, service, or modified version. Forks and modified versions must use distinct branding unless Mount Worth Creative gives written permission.

Provided as is

Accuracy, availability, and warranty

Simple Liturgy may contain errors or omissions. When accuracy is important, verify the information against an appropriate source. The application may be updated, changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.

Simple Liturgy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mount Worth Creative LLC is not liable for damages arising from use of the application or source code. The source code is also subject to the warranty and liability terms in its applicable license.
